CONTEC Launches New Touch Panel PCs in the PT-955 Series

Two New Models are added to the PT-955 series

CONTEC CO., LTD. (Tokyo Stock Exchange Code: 6639) today introduced two new touch panel PC models that are the PCI slot model, PT-955LXP1, and the Compatible with our old products (PT620/PT630 series) model, PT-955LS in the Panel computer PT-955 series.

The panel computer PT-955 series is our flagship touch panel PC for industrial embedded system. This series features the price is 60% lower than the conversion panel computer (IPC-PT700HX-AC426)

In addition, the power consumption is 30% less than previous model (IPC-PT700HX-AC426). It has been adopted LED backlight and low voltage CPU as Power Saving. Since the PT-955 series went on sale, it contributes space-saving, energy-saving and cost-cutting to your system.

The new model, PT-955LXP1, has one PCI expansion slot on its rear, so this new model can be installed one PCI expansion board. (Installable board size is 117(L) ×107(H) [mm])

The new model, PT-955LS, is compatible with our old flagship products the PT620/PT630 series (EOL products). The PT-955LS series has same panel cut size as the PT620/PT630 series. In addition, the resolution (SVGA) is also same. So, you can do product transition smoothly.
