Web Monitoring RAS Board for PCI

PC-RAS(PCI) is the RAS expansion board of the PCI bus conformity which carried Web server ability. It consists of RAS functions, such as surveillance of the temperature in a case of the main personal computer, surveillance of circumference equipment, a preventive maintenance function by the timer and watch dog timer ability, and a remote function by Web/mail, and power supply control functions by remote switch. It improves the stability of an embedded system and operating ratio.

	Perfect independent operation: It operates independently from personal computer by using the standby power of a personal computer, and is recognized as one independent node on a network. The Web server and RAS function of PC-RAS(PCI) continue operation under a situation with unstable or hang-up of a personal computer, without stopping.
	The remote surveillance / control by the WWW browser: It accesses using a WWW browser from the personal computer on a network, and a setup of a network and a RAS function, the surveillance of an operation state, and boot-up/shutdown of a main PC can be performed.
	Real-time operation surveillance: The temperature in a case, rotations of FAN, and power supply voltage are collected on real time, and the remote surveillance by WWW browser and the checking data by a user program can be performed.
	Automatic action by alarm detection: it is possible to set up and execute an automatic action, when alarm is detected. The alarm conditions can be chosen from alarm condition of three levels from each of the temperature in a case, rotation of FAN, power supply voltage, etc. The report by E-mail is also possible at the time of starting of automatic action by the user program, the shutdown of a main PC, and alarm detection.
	Substantial RAS function: Many RAS functions are carried, such as a watch dog timer for surveillance of executing program, each four points of general-purpose digital input and output, logging, and surveillance of RAID controller (when using CONTEC`s MPC series).
	Embedded system related function: By the remote switch function using general-purpose digital input and output, the placement of the power switch (PWRBTN) becomes easy at creating embedded system. Moreover, a schedule start (stop) function can configure start (stop) task up to 16 points at specified time and specified minute of each hour. Poor starting by unstable operation at the time of system starting is supervised, and it is possible to also make reboot operation by power supply automatically.
