Feature

  • Not affected by colors , materials or shape of detecting objects
    It can detected even white, black or mixed objects under the same condition.
  • Not affected by background
    It can detect only at specified area with high accuracy. It isn't affected even though there is a moving objector at the background or person is passing.
  • Hardly affected by dirty lens
    It detects an angle of incidence not light-receiving amount. So it is not variation of operating area even though lens surface is getting dirty a little.
  • IP67
    It is made by zinc die-casting.

Detecting principle

This is applying the principle of triangle measuring distance such as auto-focus camera. Light-entering position to position sensitive detector is changed in accordance with the distance to detecting object from the sensor. It makes distance judgment by measuring this position and it detects the existence of objects. On the 3-beam system, it uses 2 pair of position detecting element as per figure and it makes the correct distance judgment by averaging each measuring error(-Δχ・+Δχ).
