This product is a PCI Express bus-compliant interface board for digital signal input/output (12-24VDC). DIO-6464L-PE features 64ch opto-coupler isolated inputs (for use with current sink outputs) and 64ch opto-coupler isolated open-collector outputs (current sink type), with 16ch of the inputs having an interrupt function. This product also has a digital filter function to help prevent mis-detection of input signals. This product also has output transistor protection circuits (surge voltage protection, over-current protection). With the driver libraries for Windows/Linux supplied as standard, applications with CONTEC hardware features fully utilized can be created. LabVIEW is supported with a plug-in of dedicated libraries.

DIO-6464L-PE board has 64ch opto-coupler isolated inputs with a 200µsec response time (for use with current sink outputs) and 64ch opto-coupler isolated open-collector outputs (current sink type). A separate common ground is provided for each block of 16ch inputs which means that each block can connect to a different external power supply. The drive voltage for both the inputs and outputs is 12 - 24VDC.
Opto-coupler bus isolation: As the PCI Express bus (PC) is isolated from external signals by opto-couplers, this product has excellent noise torelance.
You can use 16 input signals as interrupt events and also disable or enable the interrupt in bit units and select the interrupt edge.
This product has a digital filter to prevent input signals from carrying noise or a chattering. This product has a digital filter to prevent input signals from carrying noise or a chattering. All input channels can be added a digital filter, and the setting can be performed by software.
Output circuits include zener diodes for surge voltage protection and poly-switches for overcurrent protection. Zener diodes are connected to the output circuits to protect against surge voltages. Similarly, polyswitches are fitted to each group of 8ch outputs for over-current protection. Output rating : max 35VDC, 100mA per channel.
Windows/Linux compatible driver libraries are bundled. Using bundled driver library API-PAC(W32) you can create your own application software for Windows/Linux. Also bundled diagnostic program can check hardware.
