VI-DAQ
What is VI-DAQ?

VI-DAQ is VI library for using our abundant products, analog input and output, digital input and output, and a counter input device ( PCI bus / PC card / USB module). It is for LabVIEW of National Instruments. Various devices can be used easily, without carrying out a complicated setup, since it is created with the function form similar to the "data acquisition VI" of LabVIEW.

The main features
<An intelligible interface
VI-DAQ is created with the function form similar to the "data acquisition VI" of LabVIEW. Since a complicated setup like driver form is unnecessary, the system which used device of our company can create for a short period of time.

 

<Offer VI function according to the use and the stage.
The function used well is offered for Foundations VI, a special condition setup and etc. as extension VI. The proper use according to the use and the stage is possible for understanding how using by Foundations VI first, and adding Extension VI after that if needed etc.

 

<Offer the practical sample according to the use
It is preparing many samples of simple and intelligible useing VI.
For example, in the analog input, "an easy input", "use of a trigger", and "a continuation sampling." are prepared. The system development which used VI-DAQ, such as changing only a required configuration and checking actual operation, is supported powerfully.

 

<The library independent of hardware
In case using different devices, such as a PCI bus board / PC card / USB module, it can be used by the same VI.

 

<Works at English environment
VI library / help / sample are prepared for English environment.

 

Composition of VI-DAQ
  • It can be used only by installing VI-DAQ and a required device driver. Moreover, it can use a new device by upgrade of a driver also.

     

  • VI Runtime contained in VI-DAQ absorbs the difference in the device to be used. A PCI bus board and a USB module can create a program using the same VI, without being conscious of the difference, although the device drivers of each hardware differ.

*1: The in range out range function and event controllership function of the counter ability of F series, bus master transmission (an analog input, output), and an analog input are not supported. The counter ability of L series is not supporting. The synchronization with a board cannot be performed except that ADA16-32/2(PCI)F used the synchronous connector.
