PC-RSD1000-PCI is a silicon disk drive of a PCI board type. You can use it for a PCI bus slot of a PC same as a hard disk by implementing it. It adopts CompactFlash Memory Card (CF) of FIX DISK specifications in storage medium and is most suitable for a system demanded severe operation condition and reliability, such as operation for 24 hours, environment characteristics-resistant, silent from as a disk drive for a hard disk Drive enlargement is possible by addition of CF (Option). RAID constitution of Striping, Mirroring, Spanning is possible.

Same as a hard disk, you can use CF as an enlargement drive of PC or an OS Startup Disk drive. In addition, you can use it as two drives by building more optional CF.
Because It does not have a turn or a moving part such as a hard disk, It is most suitable for a severe environment-resistant-related (temperature, the humidity, vibration, a shock) necessary use and continuation driving for long time.
As a CF slot for enlargement is in a PCI bracket part, So after PC implementation, Enlargement of optional CF,and exchange are very easy.
You build more CF to a CF slot for enlargement, and by using a utility it supporst three kinds of RAID function*1[RAID 0(Striping), RAID 1(Mirroring), JBOD(Spanning]. *1: RAID constitution with a hard disk connected to a PC is not possible.
