CONTEC Launches New Fanless and Slitless Embedded Computer BX951 Series

CONTEC CO., LTD. (Tokyo Stock Exchange Code: 6639) today introduced the newest　variation of embedded computer, the BX951 series, has a fanless and slitless design that keeps out dust and operates stability at 0 to 50 degrees Celsius CONTEC plans to ship the new BX series August 10, 2011.

This new BX951 series is a silitless, fanless and small PC for embedded that has the same performance and functionality of the BX950 series that features the ultra-slim (25mm) chassis. This new series employs large-scaled heatsink that fulfills to work as a Slitless PC.

The BX950 series is being adopted for use in various fields as a slim industrial PC and a HD-capable digital signage since its launch. However CONTEC had received many requests for environmentally-resistant PCs that work in dusty area or withstands severe environmental conditions from our customers. So CONTEC releases this newest BX series, the BX951 series, in response to those varied requests.
